There’s no better way to save time than to SAY NO. You can spend lots of time thinking about how to do things in the most efficient way, but nothing beats not doing them at all. I know that sounds a little harsh, but I’m serious. Just think for a while about all the things you’ve done. Thinking back you probably agree that you did a lot of things that in fact nobody needed to do. And probably there’s also a considerable number that others could have done instead of you. So what if you could figure out what these things are before you even start? And then SAY NO to them. Wouldn’t that be great?

I love to find ways to work smarter and to boost my productivity and the productivity of the people around me. I often give you tips and tricks that will help you work smarter. My intention of increasing productivity is to spend as little time as possible on less important stuff. I want to spend most of my time on what really matters. So I’m not one of those guys that like to boost productivity to be able to do more of the same.

I’m talking from experience when I tell you that I was often too busy trying to find the smartest way to do something. And then I totally forgot to ask the essential question: Do I need to do this at all? It’s nice if you can find a way to do something in 75% of the time, but it’s obviously a lot smarter if you can do it in 0% of the time. So learn to SAY NO to the things that you don’t need to do and then spend the time you saved on more important stuff.

Thanks for watching this week’s video!

Be Smart and see you on the next one.
